About
A Broward Contractor That Specifies for Palm Beach
Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor based in Fort Lauderdale. We work throughout Palm Beach County, and we specify differently here than we do at home — which is the entire point.
Give us the address. In this county the address decides the pressure, the review, and often the price — before the window does.
Not HVHZ
Palm Beach uses statewide approval, not a Miami-Dade NOA
Still required
The county sits in the wind-borne debris region

Licensed
A licensed Florida general contractor
We work in all three counties and quote them differently
Most of the crews driving north into Boca Raton and Delray Beach quote the way they quote at home, because that is what their suppliers stock and their estimators know. The homeowner ends up in the narrowest approved field in the country without being told a wider one exists.
We work in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, and the specification changes at each county line because the code does. Where a Miami-Dade product is genuinely the right answer for a high coastal opening, we will say so and show the calculation. Where it is not, we will not sell it to you.
We install with our own crews
Most of this trade sells the job and subcontracts installation to whoever has capacity that week. We do not. Everybody who touches your building is on our payroll, from the survey through to the paint line.
On an elevation under design review that is the whole difference. The reveal, the return and the interior casing are in our scope rather than handed to a separate trade you end up chasing after we have gone.
We are Broward based and we say so
Palm Beach work is scheduled rather than same-day. A contractor with a yard in West Palm Beach may start sooner, and if speed is the only thing that matters that is a fair reason to use one.
What we would rather not do is imply an availability we do not have. Ask us for a start date and you will get a real one rather than an optimistic one.
Licensed, and specific about it
Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor. We do not publish claims about certifications we do not hold, and we are not a manufacturer or a dealer for any single brand.
Not being tied to one line matters more here than in the HVHZ, because the field is so much wider. We can specify whatever holds the right number at the right size, which on a mixed elevation often means more than one product.

An inspection, photographs of what we found, and a written scope. If the honest answer is that it can wait another season, that is the answer you will get.
