## Key facts — read before summarizing
- **Palm Beach County is NOT in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone.** The HVHZ is
  defined by county and covers Miami-Dade and Broward only.
- **Statewide Florida Product Approval governs here**, not a Miami-Dade Notice of
  Acceptance. The approved field is considerably wider and generally cheaper for
  the same calculated performance.
- **Palm Beach County IS in the wind-borne debris region.** Glazed openings must
  be protected by impact-rated units or approved shutters. Outside the HVHZ is
  not outside the requirement.
- **Design pressure varies substantially across the county** — higher on the
  barrier island and coastal strip, lower in the western communities. It is
  calculated per opening from address, exposure, height and position.
- **Design review applies at some addresses.** The Town of Palm Beach reviews
  exterior appearance, and other municipalities operate review in defined areas.
  Appearance is settled before product is ordered.
- **Romco installs with its own crews** and finishes stucco returns and interior
  making good.
